Um, he is still magical and made of happiness and I want him to win the nomination. I think he’s got a much better shot at beating McCain than Hillary does. And I don’t think that because Obama’s a man and our nation isn’t ready for a lady president, blah blah blah. I think our nation is not going to elect Hillary Clinton. The real numbers (i.e., not elitist bullshit “super”delegate numbers) don’t lie: the people want Barack Obama as the Democratic nominee.
And John McCain hates hates hates women. He doesn’t want us to be able to take our birth control or get our low-cost or free gynecological care, much less have abortions. I didn’t realize what an extremist he was until I researched some Planned Parenthood stats. Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.
The facts are tough to ignore: She would have to secure 70% of all remaining delegates (pledged and super) to gain the nomination, her campaign is broke and her supporters are manning the lifeboats.
It seems it’s not a question of “if” but “when” her run will end.
Oh, Shane, I know and I hopehopehope that the rules and logic and fairness prevail…but I can totally see her stealing this one by bullying, threats, and whatever she and Bill need to do to pull this one out. And then, to paraphrase something Wonkette said today or last night, she’ll truly begin her campaign to make John McCain President of the Apocalypse.
John McCain as anti-christ?
You mean George Dubya didn’t qualify???
I think Obama just need one more motivational push, some new exciting concept or speech or somesuch. One more THANG to get him over the hump. He should win the next three primaries.
Of course, all he really needs is to win one more primary to do it. Even Hillary’s folks admit now that seating Michigan and Florida will still split the delegates pretty much 55-45 at best, not enough for her to win.
Still, I’m seeing a trend that folks also won’t vote for a black man yet. I don’t get it…they had no problem voting for a moron the last two elections…
