FINAL SARAH PALIN 23/6 VLOG ON YOUTUBE!!!!!!!

This was a blast. I’ll post outtakes on my YouTube channel, YouTube.com/SaraBenincasa, sometime soon. I choked at one point and we got it on camera. It was pretty awesome.

Sweet Christ, am I glad we don’t have to do these anymore. I loved making them, but am so glad we’ve sent Caribou Eichmann back to her snow cave to focus on Alaska (where many folks seem to like her quite a bit, and others seem to not like her at all…but that’s pretty normal for a politician, wouldn’t you say?) I’d venture to say she knows and loves Alaska pretty well. I’d also venture to say she is an anti-gay bigot who is out of touch with reality. She has good qualities and bad qualities. I’m so glad all of her qualities have been shipped back to Wasilla.

And I’m so stoked–I’ll be done with MTV Choose or Lose Street Team ‘08 next week! YESSSSSSSSSSS! I’ve learned so much and met so many interesting people and had such cool experiences because of my work with them. It has truly been life-changing. Through the ups and downs, I think I covered New York City well. I’m proud of myself, and I’m proud of my teammates. Thank you, all 50 of my fellow travelers on Street Team ‘08.

It’s been a wild year, juggling at least two and as many as three jobs at once, plus keeping Family Hour with Auntie Sara alive and kickin’ (next show this Saturday, November 8th, with special guest Diana Yanez!), plus moving in with a dude for the first time (OMFG) plus all the other little things we all deal with on a day to day basis. I have been blessed (by luck or Fate or Darwin or accident or Jeebus) to have come into contact with so many brilliant, creative thinkers and doers.

And much love to the kids at the Barack Obama Campaign for Change. You worked your fucking asses off, and the occasional emails I got from some of you (friends and strangers alike) made my fucking day each time.

And thanks to Dad, Mom, Grandmom, Pop-Pop, Reenie, my cousins, and friends for coming along on this wacky Palin ride, and for being endlessly supportive even when they didn’t always agree with what I was trying to say politically.
