Summer Resolutions

.) Workshop AGORAFABULOUS! in at least two new cities. Looking at Boston and Charleston right now; Chicago and D.C. are also strong-ish possibilities.
.) Use the gym in my building at least once a week (look, I’ll start small.)
.) Take a Sheila Kelley S Factor course.
.) Hang out on a boat.
.) Assemble my fucking IKEA bookshelf.
.) Get my book proposal to Scott by September 1st.
.) Go to the new fake Water Taxi Beach at South Street Seaport.
.) See DJ Lance Rock at Summerstage in Central Park.
.) Interview at least two more awesome people for “Gettin’ Wet with Sara Benincasa.”
.) Send Mark Day something odd and handmade, perhaps in the form of a belated baby adoption celebratory onesie.
.) Hang out with my grandparents.
.) Hang out with soon-to-be-TV-star Baratunde Thurston.
.) Go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art on a weekday.
.) Go to the Museum of Modern Art on a weekday.
.) Go to some totally ginzo Italian street festival and frolic in the manner of my people.
.) Hang out with Allison Kilkenny and Jamie Kilstein some more.
.) Go see my fam in Vermont and do a show somewhere up there.
.) Go see my fam in Toronto and do a show somewhere up there.
.) Complete one of Neil’s books that I’ve yet to read
.) Join Netflix.

If you’d like to see Baratunde perform, he often hosts Sage Standup, which is every Thursday evening at the Sage Theater in midtown (you may have already known that, and he may not still be hosting, but he was a few months ago!!).

Trying to catch up on blogs and stuff today (it’ll take a lot longer than today but..) and I thought I’d make a suggestion.

On your museum tour, you might visit The Noguchi Museum. He’s one of my favorite sculptors and you’d enjoy the visit.

    Have fun at the MoMA!!
